As someone living with Pompe's disease, I have learned to appreciate the subtle brushstrokes of life - just as I do in my paintings.
I paint since my youth and my education. In 2004 I was diagnosed with Pompe disease and worked despite my disability until my 61rd birthday as a journalist and am involved in the association Morbus Pompe Germany.   
Each of my original hand painted works is an expression of optimism and hope, a visual testament to my journey and commitment to relentlessly search for beauty and meaning despite the challenges.
With my original paintings, I want to give people courage and comfort, to show them that art can be a bright beacon.
